Visual Version Control
Visual History
Zoom tracks every change that is checked-in. For graphical assets, Zoom automatically stores a preview thumbnail for every version. Using the Visual history client, easily visualize the changes to your asset. Select a preview thumbnail and make that the current version at the flip of a button. Authoring applications need not be installed to visually preview versions.
Visual Compare
Get a better handle on what changed between versions by doing a visual compare. Simply drag-n-drop versions into the analyze box and click the analyze button, Zoom does the rest by animating the differences to make it easy for you to spot the changes.
Visual Preview
Got a million plus digital assets? Browsing or searching is slow? Not an issue with Zoom, using the bundled Asset Browser drill down, by choosing a search criterion and then filtering the results locally based on a secondary search criteria. Search annotations associated with versions; find based on metadata, project, date range, version number - Zoom allows you to do a custom search based on a variety of filters in an intuitive user interface. Authoring applications needn't be installed to preview search results. Best of all you will be astonished by the performance.
OS Integration
You use the Operating System file explorer all the time, so why not integrate the asset versioning system directly into it? That's exactly what Zoom does, now you can select a file or folder and bring up the Zoom context menu to perform common operations directly. Zoom even creates a breadcrumb trail using overlay icons to make it easy to spot your changes. Get more done with less keystrokes.
Tools Plugin
If you spend your entire day inside an authoring tool's workspace, it is a pain to switch context to bring up the asset versioning tool. With Zoom you avoid that by simply installing our third party plugin in your favorite tool. Zoom shows up as a root level menu inside your application. It even knows which files you are currently editing, to give you appropriate context menus.
